At VortexForge PCs, we take pride in delivering high-performance, but keeping  a high standard of aesthetics.  We provide a very personal boutique experience to each custom-made PC at competitive prices to commoditised suppliers. 

Our team is dedicated to ensuring your custom PC not only performs excellently but also aligns perfectly with your usage preferences.

We prefer AMD CPUs as other CPUs have been known to overpower and ‘fry’ their processing cores due to overpowering. We also prefer AM5 sockets as these have the best upgrade strategy, avoiding the regular changes of other providers’ sockets.  We can change this upon request but if you are not sure on what CPU you require, we will choose an AMD AM5 CPU depending on your budget.  Alongside choosing AMD over other companies we always include a retention frame on all our  CPUs to maximise heat transfer away from it (AM4 sockets do not support retention frames).

We primarily utilise Nvidia GPUs due to their superior ray tracing capabilities, as well as their aesthetically pleasing designs. That said, we remain open and flexible to switching to an AMD GPU or even the new Intel ARC GPUs upon customer request if that better suits your needs.  Furthermore, we generally advise against vertically mounting a GPU, as the airflow is significantly reduced, increasing temperatures.  Additionally, this increases both the time required during the building process and the effort needed to configure a case that is compatible with such mounting(we add no extra price to vertically mounting your gpu exept for the mount itself and the extra cost of a case that is compatable).  With the non-vertically mounted GPU, we always include a sag brace in your build.  GPU sag is a common issue that can lead to serious damage to both your graphics card and motherboard, potentially rendering them unusable and compromising your entire system (we have a variety of types - from horizontal with RGB lights to vertical without RGB lights).

One of the hallmark features of our builds is exceptional cable management. Proper cable management is crucial; it not only contributes to the overall visual appeal of the PC but also ensures optimal airflow for cooling, ease of maintenance, and upgrades. Your choice of case will influence the quality of your cable management (dual chambered cases are the best for cable management but take up more space on your desk leaving you with much less space in your work or gaming environment.
